Cardinal Sin

Dear Lebron,

We love most everything you do, But don't ever do that again. Always remember "Get More Shots!"

sincerely,

Sweet Emotion

...ps...MJ would have never done that...

Actually,
If you remember some of the NBA Finals (FINAL GAMES) of the great 6 championships. MJ took most of the final shots to win it, but in some occasions (I am thinking of two off hand) he dished it off knowing he was going to be double teamed to John Paxson and Steve Kerr (both made their final shots, and Jordan made all of his too).

But I agree, when you aren't MJ and you aren't that wise, and you are the wisest, and you are Lebron, you need to take the final shot (I think you let your team down if you don't and your team might think that you can't be that MJ kind of leader).

When MJ played and dished it off, you didn't mind because you knew MJ had everything under control. But Lebron is not MJ!

Thing is MJ had a team around him that was really talented... Lebron has who? Hughes? Marshall? Exactly.

MJ wouldn't do that? Andrew made the point I was going to make. MJ DID to that multiple times, and he had teammates that nailed the shots. I don't care who you are, you have to be able to trust your teammates to be there and clutch up. MJ did that, so does LeBron...LeBron just had a guy who missed.
Drives me crazy that everyone gets on LeBron for passin the ball. If he takes 30 shots he is called a ball hog (e.g. Kobe) but if he is unselfish and finds open guys all day he is criticized as well (e.g. game 1 in LeBron's case and other times this season). The guy is freaking 22 years old! He is one of the 3 best players in the world (along w/Duncan and Kobe). When Jordan was 22 he was a rookie in the NBA. Jordan lost his first 2 conference finals before finally getting by Detroit. Jordan NEVER WOULD HAVE WON without Pippen.
LeBron is not Jordan...but the comparison is just not fair. The guy made the right play in game 1...it is Donyell Marshall's fault, not LeBrons.
